She was also a clinical associate professor at Southern California College of Optometry teaching students to perform low vision exams.  Over the years she has continued to practice low vision part-time in a variety of settings. Due to Dr. Friedman's unusual array of experience, she brings a level of expertise as well as a certain compassion to each of her exams.  From educating first-time contact lens wearers, to counseling patients after diagnosing macular degeneration, Dr. Friedman is dedicated to meeting each patient's needs and concerns.
